In 2018 Oxford University Press published my book Listening to Bach: The Mass in B Minor and the Christmas Oratorio. In 2016 they published an updated paperback edition of my Hearing Bach's Passions.

I direct the Bloomington Bach Cantata Project and serve as President of the American Bach Society.
